Our services

How can we support your well-being?

Two practices under one roof, each delivered one person at a time. If you are not sure which is the better starting point, we are glad to talk it through.

Acupuncture

A cornerstone of traditional Chinese medicine. Fine, single-use sterile needles are placed at specific points to support the body’s own regulation. Your acupuncturist takes a full history, explains what to expect, and checks in with you throughout.

Modalities

  • Chinese & Japanese styles
  • Orthopedic acupuncture
  • Chinese herbal medicine
  • Tui na & moxa

Where we can help

Finding the right starting point

These are the reasons people most often come to see us. They are a guide to what a first conversation might cover — not a diagnosis.

Not sure which service is right for you? Contact us and we’ll help you choose the best next step. We work alongside your doctor, not instead of them.

Pain & muscle tension
Back and neck pain, stiffness, and the everyday aches that build up over time.

Injury recovery & mobility
Support alongside your existing care as you rebuild strength and range of motion.
Sleep & relaxation
Many clients come simply to wind down and sleep more easily afterwards.
Preventive wellness
Regular appointments as part of looking after yourself, not only when something hurts.
Ongoing, unhurried care
Appointments are not stacked back to back, so there is time to talk.
Serving the North Shore since 1998

Rooted in community. Committed to your well-being.

Beverly Holistic Health has cared for the North Shore from the same Cabot Street storefront for more than twenty-five years. It is a small practice on purpose: you see the same practitioner each visit, and treatment plans are built around your goals rather than a package.

Over that time the practice has grown up alongside downtown Beverly — and said goodbye to a few familiar faces, including John and his office dog Beni, who retired after many years here.

What to expect

Your first visit

If you have never had acupuncture or professional bodywork before, here is how a first appointment usually goes.

A calm, softly lit waiting area with a cream sofa and potted plants.
  1. Connect or schedule

Call us on 978.524.4888 or send a request through the contact page. Tell us roughly what you are hoping for and we will find a time that works.

  2. Discuss your needs

Your practitioner takes a full history and talks through what you would like to work on, what to expect during treatment, and anything you are unsure about.

  3. Begin personalized care

Treatment is shaped around that conversation, and your practitioner checks in with you throughout. You will leave knowing what a sensible next step looks like.

Our approach

Care that starts with listening

We are not a high-volume clinic. Appointments are not stacked on top of one another, you see the same practitioner each visit, and nobody is sold a package they did not ask for.

Acupuncture and massage are complementary therapies. They sit alongside the care you get from your doctor, and we are always glad to coordinate with your wider care team.
